Who we are

We are a group of Colombian and Spanish researchers who have spent several years working to get the best solution to the issue of rice husk accumulation in major producing countries of this cereal. The Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO) has recently granted us the patent for our rice husk recycle system, based on our new process and the innovation provided. In the coming months we will request a PCT patent (Patent Cooperation Treatment) for international protection. With our patented process we managed to transform through the annelids, rice husks into humus, liquid humus and organic silicon and calcium.

Rice husk

Rice is the most consumed food worldwide. More than half of the planet consumes this cereal daily. For decades, rice husks have been one of the major problems that producing countries of this cereal have. The banning of burning this vegetable waste due to the chemicals used in the rice production, along with the large rice husk accumulation in the mills, has resulted in thousands of patents filed in recent years to try to solve this complicated situation. Our patent's main difference, compared to the thousands granted with regard to the recycling of this waste is that we obtain different products of great value for organic fertilization and natural cosmetics. They are products on which the global market will rotate in the coming years and which will particularly contribute to improving the lives of millions of people.

Our Process

Our process is different, innovative, and environmentally friendly; it is also extremely cheap in relation to patents granted in recent decades on rice husk recycling. The transformation process is carried out for 6 months, in the first phase we rely on a chemical-biological treatment we make to the rice husk, in the second rice husks come into contact with annelids (Californian red earthworms), responsible for processing the rice husks.

Organic Silicon

Our organic silicon's main difference is the production and transformation process. Until today the only way to transform from mineral to organic has been through the vegetable plants, therefore, we are able to assert that the organic silicon obtained in China receives the wrong designation since its production is from mineral origin, extracted through rocks and sand, which are materials of inorganic origin.

The vermicompost (earthworm humus) is considered the best organic fertilizer currently used. The biggest difference between our humus, obtained from rice husks, compared to the one produced from manure, is mostly the cationic exchange and the fact that it doesn’t contain bacteria such as Salmonella and Escherichia coli. We are therefore convinced that our project will produce one of the best organic fertilizers that can be found in the market in the coming years.

We are currently looking for investors and entrepreneurs at national and international level, within the rice, agricultural, cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical industry, and investors looking for innovative projects, with enough financial power to execute our ambitious rice husk recycling project.
